Hello all,
Here is my cry for help lol....
I have a 2008 chevy impala that has an ongoing problem for about 3 months now. The car sets a complete intermittent p2135 which seems like it sets whenever it wants. The code is a correlation error between tps 1 and tps 2. I have replaced the throttle body three times, the pigtail for the throttle body, and the PCM. I have load tested all 6 wires that go to the throttle body from the pcm the old fashion way and all wires test perfectly fine. The car has gone as much as 750 miles without a fault and as little as 20 miles with a fault. I installed an old school GM VDR (vehicle data recorder) to catch the fault data. I got a snapshot recorder of the tac data but nothing is standing out to me other than that the desired and indicated tps is off by 2%. The 5v ref 1 and 2 both stay alive the entirety of when the fault triggers. I have attached the VDR snap shot trigger frame below. Hopefully someone can give me some insight. The 5v ref for the circuit is shared with ckp sensor and app sensor. I am at a complete loss and need some insight.

Hey Mikey!
There is a grey connector on the driver's strut tower that is famous for collecting water and setting TPP/APP codes. I went around the block with a Buick last year (same chassis) that ended up needing an accelerator pedal. I'll have to check my notes for the exact code it was setting. It was tough to get the code to set, until I discovered that pulling up on the pedal set the code every time. Then I used every pedal the parts store could get their hands on without a fix. For whatever reason the Dorman one just wouldn't keep the system happy. In my case, the fix was a used OEM pedal out of an 08 Impala.
