Hi, im working on a 2016 Fiat Abarth , with a problem in the Auto/manual type transmission. After driving the car then parking it, even for 10 minutes , when restarting it selects gears ok, but no drive, like the clutch is not engaging. If you rev it up to about 3000rpm, it then bangs badly into gear , sometime stalls. Not consistant, sometimes does it , then doesnt. You can sit there reving it up to 3000rpm up and down . Switch it off , restart on and off maybe 5-7 times and it come good. When its good you can drive it as much as you want, until you turn it off, and restart it. The first fault code that appears , but not when the problems happens, appears maybe 2-3 minutes time, but is consistant is P229962 plausability check brake/accellerator pedal, signal compare failure. So i have tested and bypassed the brake pedal switch , 4 pin type, so its not that.
Live data shows the accellerator pedal sensor voltage appears ok, i guess next best to use the scope and check both sensors when it faults, incase a sensor is dropping out . Only After the transmission smashes into gear at 3000 rpm, i get more codes, TCM P060C83 trans ecu faulty, calibration signal protection. P181987 can message missing, fault related to torque. U001987 convergence telematic module missing message. Anyone seen or repaired this before?
