I have G6 that was running fine and it just started to slip from a take off with no warning. Right now i tested the 1-2 and 2-3 shift solenoid valve doing a ohm test and they were within range of 19-24 testing at 22.5 on both. The Torque converter Clutch pulse with modulation solenoid valve tested at 12.5 ohms and spec for this solenoid is 10-11 ohms. There are no ecm codes or engine light on. Was wondering if that 1.5 ohms over is maybe the cause of a partially failed valve causing the problem? I am testing these by disconnecting from transmission module and back probing. FYI i'm a dyi mechanic who is taking the scannerdanner course to learn testing before throwing parts at stuff. Thank You, Chad

Without further details/evidence I wouldn't be concerned about the measured resistance. The value looks close enough and the deviation from the reference may well be due to the meter accuracy itself, probes and/or test leads, temperature....

An expert is someone who knows each time more on each time less, until he finally knows absolutely everything about absolutely nothing.

Agree with Juergen - your resistance values are close enough to spec that I don't immediately suspect an electrical problem.

Is this the 4T65 or the 6T? Different list of suspects. ;) You've probably already checked, but is the fluid level correct?

It is the 4t45-e transmission. It was a low on fluid, so i did a fluid change and filter. I was able to get a scan tool with bi directional control on it today. No Codes and solenoids responding accordingly.

Figured this one out. Tubes in the pan that control the low band servo broke at the weld.
