Working on a 2016 Ford Transit van. No crank, no start condition. 3.2L Turbo Diesel.
Have power at Pin 47 when turning the key to start. Also have power to Pin 37 when turning the key to start. I also have power to Fuse 29 when turning key to start.
Also, I have power at Pin 25 when turning key to start, which Chad said means the PCM is not providing a control Ground. Not sure where to go from here....
I would start with scan data. Make sure the PCM sees the crank request and check for a status PID of the cranking circuit.
There may be a condition keeping the PCM from energizing the starter circuit on purpose like a park-neutral input or something.
