Had a 7.3 come in with a crank no start. No RPM showing on the cluster or scanner. Backprobed signal wire with the scope and it had a nice looking waveform, but the voltage was way low, like less than 3v at the peak. Kinda confused me that it had such a good looking waveform with a bad sensor, but went ahead and put one in it. Below is a good waveform cranking and running if anyone is interested. Sorry didn't take a picture of the bad one.

A perfect example of why it's important to not only focus on the pattern on the screen but amplitude or voltage the sensor is producing.
It would be very easy to zoom right in on the bad one and fill up the screen, giving it the appearance of a good signal.
