Hello,
I wonder if anybody knows what my scan tool is telling me when cam and crank live data at idle keeps alternating between "on" and "off"? No graphing data. Could this hint at intermittent cam or crank signal failures? Is this common with many scan tools?
Thanks

What's the YMME of the vehicle you're looking at?
Are there any symptoms or codes that you're diagnosing? Or did you just happen to notice this PID behavior on a known good vehicle?

Hey Tyler, I figured I would have to post a new topic in the “repair questions section,” describing all the detailed troubles I’m having with my car to get that answer.
This was just a quick query.
But In short:
2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5rs (California)
Recent Ecu failure (Replaced ECU) because of P0335 and P0340.
Cam and Crank sensors also replaced.
This allowed the car to run again but now I’m having a new problem where the car is running full rich (-30LTFT-12STFT) and I’m wondering if it could all somehow be related. I’m asking because I’m all out of ideas on this new problem and the live data is curious.
