Don't forget how useful UV dyes are. was created by Andy.MacFadyen
Coolant leak, vehicle had never required a coolant top up in two years suddenly lost about 2 litres/quarts after a 100 mile journey.
No obvious signs of leakage cold and hot pressure test revealed nothing, vacuum test was okay. Head gasket was suspected as a last test I tried fluorescent UV dye
