Hi Paul.is it possible to use a 600 amps clamp on a vantage ultra scope.i want to do a starter cranking test to so that I can see if the armature or brushes are bad. Thanks.
The clamp should work with your Vantage. Just use the appropriate voltage scale.
That said it'll take some playing around with filtering to get a good look at the armature humps. IIRC the Vantage does have filtering but I'm not sure if it's adjustable.
