Integrated troubleshooter was created by inwywind
In looking at used scan tools/scopes on Ebay I cannot determine which snap on units have the integrated troubleshooter. I will not use it nearly enough to pay for a subscription but would like to get the latest tool that has the repair information stored internally.
What models or software versions should I be looking at?

They all have some amount information built in. Generally, any thing with a scope will have a "guided components tests" section where you will find pin outs and directions to do a few tests with the scope.
Built into the scan tool, depending on the make and model, there usually will be a "troubleshooter" tab where you may find descriptions of certain components and guided tests you use while watching scan data.
And while these features are nice, they are far from perfect, and are not a substitute for an actual service information subscription. Sometimes the information is incorrect, and many times on newer or import vehicles there is no "troubleshooter".
If there are specific machines you are looking at, I will be happy to answer any questions I can, and I'm sure other members will weigh in.
