Hello guys.

I have read the topic here in the forum about the snap on vantage / vantage pro. For what I read I know they are good tools.

I want and automotive oscilloscope. I know picoscope and they are awesome but the price of the kits are way too far for my budget.

So reading what kind of scope I have to chose. I found the company called HANTEK they sell Kit with all the accessories and they are about 500$ the same price you can find a Snap On Modis (500 - 650$ ebay) or Snap On Vantage pro with the KV accessories (350 - 500$ ebay).

I know Hantek works great but his biggest fault is the software. Where I read the people said is bad... I don't know because i never used.

I watched couple of videos and see the Vantage pro and the modis work great in the field.

So my question it this. I worth the money buy one of the snap on vantage pro or Modis in 2017?

All the Snap on I found on ebay are used.
are they easy to repairs? like screens/buttons.
This part are cheap or super expensive?
The most it worry's me is the lifespan of the tools because they are old tools.
What can of think i will looking for when I buy one?

I hope guys you can help me with this. All recommendation and comments are welcome :) !

Thanks and sorry if I have grammar errors.

I recently bought a modis edge. So far I'm loving it. Bought it new for around $3,500. It's the first scope I've ever owned, I'm still learning how to use it.
