Snap-On Code Scan issues

Wanted to survey the Snap-On users around here, see if anyone has had similar issues. The short story is that this 2013 Edge came in with the check engine light on and no running complaints. A Code Scan is run and spits out this:



Hmmmmm, nothing here to explain the CEL. The PCM doesn't turn that light on arbitrarily... I try Global next.



Ah hah! That'd explain the light. Now I try going into the Trans module directly on the OE side.



The Code Scan completely missed these hard faults. Anyone else been here?

i seen it happen before. theres a guy on youtube under the name triangle diagnostics. he had the same issues on a newer video he put out on a Hyundai. hes a real good tech for being pretty young. idk but I almost always use the autel on fords

Good to know! I'm subscribed to Triangle Diagnostics, but haven't watched that Hyundai video yet.

OK, I got a plan here. I'm expecting to see this same Edge back in the near future for more repairs, and in the meantime, I got the Snap-On guy to upgrade me to 17.2. Will it do the same crap next time? I'll let you know!
